Set in a beautiful and peaceful location, The Bruce Arms is an 18th century coaching inn with extensive camp site, located just outside Easton Royal, east of Pewsey. It is a perfect location for walking and is not far from the Kennet & Avon Canal, Crofton Beam Engines and Wilton Windmill.
The pub is registered with CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) – so you know that you will have a range of local beers on offer and it is in fact one of only two CAMRA Heritage Pubs in Wiltshire. This is because the interior has been preserved as it was in the 1930’s and CAMRA records it as a pub with a nationally important historic interior. Food is served (see hours below).
The campsite is a Camping & Caravanning Club Certificated Site and the facilities include electricity hook up for 5 caravans and oodles of space for tents, motorhomes and other campers. A shower block and laundry room means that you have all the facilities you need. Very dog friendly.
It’s a lovely spot and well worth considering if you have a group meeting or rally – there is so much space and it is open all year round.
