Great Bedwyn is a pretty village on the edge of Savernake Forest, with the Kennet & Avon Canal running through the middle of the village. It has a mainline railway station, as well as a pub, village stores and a post office and bread shop.
St Mary’s Church, a primary school and a doctors’ surgery are also located there.
