Another fabulous group walk with Bedwyn Footpaths Group.
This leisurely 4 mile walk will leave the wharf along the towpath, passing under bridge 99, a John Rennie skew bridge. At Crofton we’ll leave the towpath to return to Bedwyn along tracks to the north of the canal and railway, above Bloxham and passing close to Haw Wood. We’ll drop back down to the village along Hatchet Lane.
Bring a drink or snack for a short refreshment stop. No stiles, no steep hills, possibly some mud, roots or ruts in places.
The walk finishes just after midday so there will be the option to visit to The Three Tuns afterwards for refreshment.
It might be possible for some walkers to join or leave this walk at a halfway point. If you would prefer a short walk option, please get in touch in advance to arrange.
