If you want to get away from it all and slow down the pace of life, then Honeybee Glamping is the destination for you! Three gorgeous safari lodges – Carniolan Lodge, Buckfast Lodge and Ligustica Lodge – are set in the heart of the idyllic Pewsey Vale countryside, close to the Kennet & Avon Canal, with fantastic walking and cycling from the doorstep and in walking distance to local pubs ….. what more could you ask for?
Every guest has a personal welcome to make sure you know how everything works in your lodge.
Each Lodge Tent has a verandah for those lazy summer evenings and sleeps up to 6 people. They have a fully equipped kitchen with log burning stove, BBQ, two single beds and two double/king size beds, dining tables and chairs, sofa as well as an en-suite bathroom with rain shower.
A hydrotherapy hot tub is also available for hire.
The lodges are available from March to October.
Honeybee Glamping is an eco site, encouraging the use of recycling and composting. The Lodges’ energy comes from solar panels and waste water is filtered by a Bio-Rock system.
You can also hire their luxury campervan which they kitted out themselves – this is available all year round. They now have this fantastic tiny home on wheels running brilliantly on solar (sadly still needing diesel to drive). It sleeps 4 and has 4 belted seats, table, beautiful wooden kitchen, shower, toilet, 2 single beds and a super king not forgetting a garage with integrated bike storage. Roof rack for surfboards and kayaks, plenty of storage and room for the dog!
Enjoy the peaceful and restorative surroundings of Honeybee Glamping’s location in the North Wessex Downs National Landscape, just south of the ancient Wansdyke and the glorious Pewsey Downs. This is an ancient part of the world, where you can see amazing strip lynchetts (medieval field systems for terracing and growing crops) from the Honeybee Glamping site. You are also close to the Kennet & Avon Canal where otters and kingfishers can be seen and where you can enjoy paddle boarding, canoeing, walking and cycling. There are plenty of footpaths, bridlepaths and byways in the area, as well as a number of pubs within walking distance.
