There is always a very warm welcome at Wendy’s Community Cafe & Juice Bar!
This friendly and family run, independent cafe welcomes small and large groups. Open for breakfast and lunch from Monday to Saturday and open for home-made roast dinners from 12 noon to 2.30pm on Sundays, with plenty of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options for you to choose from, all of which can be eat-in or takeaway.
The menu at Wendy’s Community Cafe is seasonal, so lunch options include a range of soups, salads, home-made vegetarian/vegan burgers, sandwiches, paninis and jacket potatoes, as well as a Children’s Menu. In addition to this, the home-made Specials Board often includes a meat option and veggie option and home-made Nut Roast is available for Sunday Lunch. Also on offer is a range of hot drinks, cakes, fresh juices and smoothies.
Children and dogs (on leads) are more than welcome.
The Cafe takes bookings and a ramp is available for accessibility.
There is a Children’s Play Room and a private room for larger bookings, as well as outdoor seating for the warmer weather.
The Cafe is opposite the village green and children’s play park.
Parking is in the car park off Farm Lane.
Great Bedwyn is on the Kennet & Avon Canal and Wendy’s Cafe is a short walk from Bedwyn Wharf and Bedwyn Train Station. It is a very pretty village and there are lots of walks that take in Great Bedwyn, so Wendy’s Community Cafe is a popular, convenient and welcome stop-off on the way.
