The family friendly village pub, situated in the shadow of St. Mary’s Church. Fantastic freshly cooked food & desserts. A great range of beers, ales & ciders.

“Superb service with friendly staff.” – just some of the comments that very happy customers of The Crown Inn in Bishops Cannings have been sharing.

The Crown Inn offers an extensive range of freshly cooked food including vegetarian, vegan & gluten free options, a children’s menu and lighter lunch time food for additional choice.

Set in the heart of Bishops Cannings, a pretty village at the western end of the Vale of Pewsey, The Crown Inn has a spacious inside bar and restaurant area, as well as a large beer garden with a fully licensed outside bar, for when the sun shines.

The Crown also has a huge marquee, with heaters, lights and a full wooden floor, if you wish to get out of the sun a bit, or to help you brave the British weather all year round.  The large TV in the marquee shows all the major sporting events.  The marquee is also available for hire for private functions.

The Crown Inn loves dogs and well-behaved dogs are always welcome – just please clean up after them. Dog bags and bins are found throughout the site.

And you can stay at The Crown Inn as well, with their large campsite able to accommodate up to 10 camper vans & 20 tent pitches.

They are unable to accept caravans as there is no electric or water hook up on the site.

You can have campfires & BBQs, but please just keep them raised off the floor.

On site there are hard standing toilets and showers, refuse bins, as well as a drinking water point.

The Crown Inn has regular event nights, and can accommodate groups for drinks or a meal.

Quiz Night is on the first Thursday of every month and on the third Thursday of every month it’s Boogie Bingo Night. There are free drinks, free meals & cash prizes to be won at both events.

They also have regular live music events & festivals throughout the year, so keep checking their website and social media pages to stay up to date.

The area is criss-crossed with footpaths and other rights of way and is not far from The Wansdyke, so walking and cycling groups are always welcome.
