Portrait & Figurative Retrospective 2024 - exhibition at McNeill Gallery of Contemporary Art in Pewsey.
Traditionally artists paint Self Portraits as a self study over the course of their careers. Beyond representing ones physical attributes self portraiture can serve to announce one’s vocation and style as an artist. Famously Rembrandt painted a self portrait annually. A Selection of Oils, Sketches & Photography. From 2nd February – 16th February 2024 – All comers welcome.
