Set in the south of the Pewsey Vale, with spectacular views, Upavon Golf Club was created in 1912 thanks to the arrival of the Royal Flying Corps at the adjacent airfield. With the free-draining chalk downland location, Upavon Golf Club rarely closes due to weather conditions and so offers a year-round golfing experience.
The Clubhouse has a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, with a bar, outdoor seating area for the warmer months and home-made food served throughout the day, including seasonal specials. Bacon rolls and excellent golfers’ breakfasts are on offer for anyone setting off first thing and freshly made soups are just the thing to restore you after a round of golf on a winter’s morning!
A range of membership schemes is available, as well as competitive day rates for visiting golfers who are always made welcome. Societies can be catered for with a range of packages tailored to suit your needs – contact Richard Blake, Club Manager using the contact form below, for details.
There is a fully stocked Pro shop and good changing facilities with showers which, together with tuition and comprehensive practice facilities, make Upavon Golf Club the ideal location to test your golf and enjoy a day out in the glorious Wiltshire countryside
