Shepherds Bookbinders offers a specialist bespoke bookbinding service. They also have a well-equipped, spacious studio and it is here that bookbinding courses are run throughout the year, from beginner level to City & Guilds Level 3.
The workshop and training courses are also shared with Bound By Veterans – a charity supporting wounded, injured and sick ex-Servicemen and women from all three Services.
Using the restorative powers of manual bookbinding to assist rehabilitation, improve health and well-being and to develop employment skills, a range of beautifully crafted products are produced by Bound By Veterans. Shepherds Bookbinders is located in the Daffodil Barn in Woodborough Yard, a name which goes back to the days when daffodils were grown here and transported to flower markets across the country.
