Fine Art Commissions in Wiltshire was established in 2025 and is the gallery’s multipurpose exhibiting space and working artist’s studio.
It acts as a location for experiencing art and the remarkable Wiltshire landscape. We hope to inspire new dialogues and energise our visitors to make meaningful connections with portraiture and the natural surroundings.
Fine Art Commissions works with internationally renowned artists specialising in portraiture. Our gallery and working studio houses a fabulous exhibition space with gilt pillars, once owned by John Singer Sargent, framing the north window. Visitors can explore the idea of commissioning a portrait, view an exhibition of works for sale or simply rootle through our stock.
