Join us in the Barn at The Barge Inn, Honeystreet, for a celebration of the very best produce from Wiltshire and the South West.

This is not just a buffet.  It is a carefully curated showcase of outstanding local food, where quality comes first, and you are free to enjoy it at your own pace.

Local. Seasonal. Exceptional.

We focus, wherever possible, on local producers, especially from Wiltshire:

• Cheese from Brinkworth Dairy, Lyburn, Feltham’s Farm, Ford Farm, Wyke Farms, and Longman
• Bread from Marshalls Bakery , Pewsey
• Ham from Sumbler Brother’s,  Marlborough
• Pickles and chutneys from Tracklements and Dauntsey Preserves
• Butter from Wiltshire and Somerset producers
• Local ales from Stonehenge Ales (not included in ticket), served by the Barge Inn

Expect a generous and varied selection, including Wiltshire Loaf, Avebury (Wiltshire Brie), Dorset Red, and other West Country favourites.

Start with a small plate, try something new, then go back and build your perfect Ploughman’s. This is about enjoying great food properly. Not rushing, not piling high, but discovering what you like and going back for more.

A Unique Setting

Set beside the Kennet and Avon Canal in the beautiful Vale of Pewsey, The Barge Inn offers a relaxed, characterful setting with a canal-side garden and its distinctive Barn venue.

The space is almost fully accessible – DO please contact me with any questions or concerns. The atmosphere is always welcoming, eclectic, and full of character.

Cheeses, breads, ham, pies, pickles, chutneys, butter, and more, all selected for quality and provenance.

This is a traditional Ploughman’s Lunch offering, with a strong focus on cheese and pork products. If you have specific requirements, please get in touch and we will do our best to help.

Timed Entry – stay as long as you like

We are using timed entry for this event to better manage service flow and product availability. Whilst we will have more than enough food, occasionally an item may prove exceptionally popular. Timed entry helps ensure that all visitors have the opportunity to sample everything equally.

End of session sales

We buy directly from many suppliers to showcase their products. We deliberately overstock, not only to ensure that it would be impossible for all the food to be consumed, but also so we can offer these excellent products for you to take home.

Make a note of your favourites and let us know. Towards the end of service, we will confirm what is available so that everyone has fair access.
