A special opportunity to see how we maintain our engines, pumps and the boiler. This maintenance work is carried out to preserve Crofton and to ensure we can run our mighty engines in the summer season so visitors can experience the true power of steam.
Our knowledgeable volunteers will be on hand to guide you round the site. Entrance is free although a donation to Crofton will be much appreciated since looking after Crofton is an expensive business!
Open hours are 10am to 2pm. Our car park is open from 10am to 2.30pm.
