The Pewsey Vale is an absolute gem for anyone who enjoys a country walk with spectacular views, beautiful countryside and plenty of history. We have lots of ideas for where to go and what to see.
Please ensure you have suitable walking gear for the conditions - routes can get muddy. All of the routes follow legal rights of way.
We want you to enjoy your walking in the Vale of Pewsey, but please follow the basic countryside rules while walking, including closing gates, not leaving litter and keeping dogs away from livestock and game (preferably keep on a lead). Stay on the paths, especially on arable farmland.
Remember that where you see scrubland or crop cover, ground-nesting birds such as plovers and skylarks see a perfect nesting site, particularly from March through to July so keep your distance and keep your dog on a lead.
We hope you enjoy these suggestions and ask you to respect the countryside and follow the countryside code. Thank you!
