Leanda McConnell, a Kintbury based artist, who paints from a shepherd's hut overlooking the Kennet and Avon dedicates her practice to exploration and experimentation. This body of work is dedicated to landscape, with particular focus on the sky, hence the title. She starts every painting with the sky, whether it's the winter leaden skies or the bright summer sunshine illuminating the world around us.
