This is a course for anyone who has mastered the basics of crochet and wants to take their skills to the next level; creating beautiful accessories, textiles and home furnishings. The word ‘mandala’ originates from Sanskrit language and means circle, the original use of the word has spiritual connotations which translate through to today and the process of crochet which many people find has meditative properties: Crocheting madalas is a fun, relaxing and rewarding activity – giving you some time for yourself, your thoughts and your own creativity.
The course spaced over four weeks, with a two-hour lesson per week, held at the Craft Studio in Pewsey, Wiltshire with personal support via e-mail, text and phone during the course.
Each week we will crochet a new and more intricate mandala which you will complete at home during the week. During the final lesson we will frame one of our mandalas making a beautiful decoration for your home or a special gift for a friend.
The Course price includes a fabulous crochet kit, worth over £40.00, which contains all patterns, yarns hooks and equipment needed for the course and to complete the course projects.
