Lost in the Forest by Colin Heber-Percy - come and hear the author talk about his new book!
St Peter’s Church, Manningford
Friday 4 July
Doors open at 6.30pm for a glass of wine before the event runs from 7.00pm – 8.15pm.
Previously a curate in the Vale of Pewsey, Colin is now a vicar in the Savernake team as well as a screenwriter and author. His first book, Tales of a Country Parish, became a bestseller in independent bookshops for its delightful blend of rural anecdotes and spiritual reflections. His second, published in February, takes a more personal approach as Colin invites the reader to join him on his daily walks in Savernake Forest, musing on the nature of belonging – or not. Visiting the mighty oaks of the forest many of us know so well, his rich mix of local stories, universal wisdom and gentle humour reveals that ‘not fitting in’ is liberating rather than something to fear.
