Nordic Walking is an enhancement of ordinary walking – it makes something we can all do… twice as effective! Nordic Walking uses poles to in order to add two major benefits to walking:
- use of poles means the upper body muscles are used as well as the legs
- the poles help to propel the walker along – this means he/she works harder than usual yet the support given by the poles makes it feel easier!
This award winning course will help you to not only learn Nordic walking technique but will help you to use it in order to achieve your personal health and fitness goals.
This course is for all abilities and will be offered as follows:
14th November 1 hour session 1pm-2pm
21st November 1.5 hour session 12:30-2pm
28th November 1.5 hour session 12:30-2pm

All lessons will be held in locations in and around Marlborough.
Each session adds another 'gear' and helps you to understand how to gain propulsion, gradually increase the workload and learn how to Nordic walk for fitness, weight loss or fun! This course is for all abilities and will be offered as 4 x 1 hour session which is a great way to learn and build on your technique each week. Poles will be provided and if available can be borrowed to to practice between sessions.
