This is a course for anyone who has attended our Beginning Knitting course, or who has already mastered the basics of knitting. It is spaced out over six weeks, with a one-and-a-half-hour lesson per week, held at the Craft Studio in Pewsey, with personal support via facebook, e-mail and phone during the course.

Knitters will learn new techniques including Aran & Fair Isle, knitting ‘in the round’ and top down knitting, and will work with different weight and coloured yarns. The course will also explore different casting on and binding off and invisible seaming techniques including ‘grafting’.

During the course, in addition to the class room projects attendees will create an Aran duffle bag which will contain an pocket with an Aran design created by the student making the duffle a unique and beautiful item of knit-ware.

The Course price includes a fabulous knitting kit, worth over £40.00, which contains all patterns, yarns needles and equipment needed for the course and to complete the Course Projects.
