Location: The Pelican Inn, Froxfield. SN8 3JY
All are welcome on this free walk. Meet in the car park of The Pelican pub, Froxfield (the car park on the Marlborough side of the pub) for a walk along paths to the east of the village.
We’ll be going uphill towards Standen, back over the railway and canal and around Cake Wood before ending up behind the College (The Duchess of Somerset’s Hospital).
This is a moderate walk with two stiles, one fairly steep ascent & two flights of about 20 steps up and down over the railway and canal. There is the option of a pre-booked lunch at the Pelican after the walk.
