A lovely, peaceful place to stay with wonderful views, Bridge Farm offers pop-up camping during the summer holidays (normally during August) as well as a pop-up farm shop.
Bridge Farm is ideally located for walking and exploring – it’s next to the Kennet & Avon Canal, close to the ancient Wansdyke and the Iron-age Rybury Camp Hillfort and with the most stunning views across to the Pewsey Downs and the Alton Barnes White Horse. This is also an ideal stop for those who are walking the Pewsey Vale Circular Way or the Kennet & Avon Canal itineraries. The Crop Circle Exhibition, Honeystreet Mill cafe and Farm Shop are all a lovely walk along the canal away. The village has a pub and a small shop.
The Farm is a family-run, organic sheep and beef farm, with free range sheep and chickens! Their fabulous, sustainably produced red ruby beef and lamb is available through the pop-up shop on the farm, as well as all essentials including sausages, burgers and eggs for breakfasts and barbecues.
Being an organic farm, they encourage natural biodiversity and work closely with Natural England, as well as providing educational access.
The camping pitches are on grass and basic camping facilities include fresh water taps, portaloos and bins. The camping field is at the foot of the Pewsey Downs Nature Reserve, a site of special scientific interest for the range of chalk grassland plants and associated butterflies.
