Ham is a pretty small village located very close to the Wiltshire and West Berkshire border and at the very eastern end of the Vale of Pewsey.
As with most of the Vale of Pewsey villages, Ham is in the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and at its centre is the village green. Lots of thatched cottages populate the village as well as the Crown & Anchor pub (which at the time of writing in 2017 is currently closed, pending reopening).
There are some lovely walks around Ham and also the Ham Hill Nature Reserve which is well worth a visit.
