Services include curtain and blind making, with a good selection of quality fabrics available for you to choose from, as well as made to order furniture and reupholstery.
There’s nothing like visiting the showroom to peruse, but if you can’t make it into Pewsey, then the offers online shopping for many of their products.
Natalie and Tracey attend a number of buying events each year and from there they select suppliers who they feel provide a range of products that reflects the style of their shop. ‘We then visit these suppliers two or three times a year and select from their range the exact products to go in our shop, keeping in mind our customers and trying to choose items that are a little more unusual,’ Natalie explained.
Keeping up to date with the latest interior trends is extremely important – Natalie said, ‘We visit Decorex each year in London, which is where all the fabric, wallpaper and lighting designers exhibit their latest collections. Again we are very selective about which companies we choose and which fabric/wallpaper books we purchase for the shop. So if we don’t have the book in store we can still get fabrics and wallpaper from the entire range.’
Tracey has been an Interior Designer for 21 years, she started working at Gilberts Interiors in Swindon before setting up another interior design shop in Old Town. She then worked freelance for a number of years before having a small break.
Natalie trained as a Norland nanny and worked in childcare for 10 years, She had always been interested in the business side of things and wanted a change in direction; Tracey was ready to come back into Interior Design, so together they set up Ambience Interiors Ltd in 2012 and opened the shop in Pewsey in March 2013. It’s a winning partnership with Tracey focusing on the interior side and Natalie on the business side.
